About me

Being born and raised in a migrant family in South Germany, I very soon had to learn to navigate in different languages and cultural backgrounds. From early age on I loved to sing and rhyme which I did so excessively that my half sister would beg me to once stop. No matter where we went, I was constantly inventing texts and melodies. The world around me seemed to be emerged with stories, words, rhythms, sounds and melodies. I could listen for hours when my Slovenian grandmother would exchange stories and gossip with other people which would draw a movie before my internal eye while I was trying to fill the words I could not grasp with meaning, shape and form. From the minute I could talk I was filled with an insatiable curiosity, asking so many questions that my mother would desperately reply in German: „Warum, warum, warum ist die Banane krumm?“, which means translated: why, why, why is the banana crooked? Well, I found the answer to my early inquiries and continue to be a diligent pursuer of knowledge. This made me kind of an eternal student in many areas of life with a wide array of interests. I love to communicate, I love the spoken and written word and I love to help others to express their thoughts and ideas.
